Kalamazoo, MI (August 19, 2023) - After a collision involving two automobiles early on Saturday, August 19, three persons were killed, and one person sustained significant injuries.
According to a press release, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office responded to a complaint of a collision near the intersection of Michigan Highway 89 and North 40th Street in Ross Township at around 12:50 a.m. in the morning. Deputies stated two passengers in one automobile were killed, and the driver of the second car was in critical but stable condition.
Deputies believe drugs and speed had a role in this collision, though an inquiry into the crash's cause is still underway.
