Detroit, MI (August 18, 2023) - Several drivers were engaged in an accident early on Friday, August 18, on southbound Michigan Highway 39, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
At 12:30 a.m., first responders, including EMTs, police from Detroit, and state troopers from Michigan, came. As police investigated the crash scene, authorities shut down all left lanes and partially shut down some center lanes near the Schoolcraft Road exit. Although it is not yet clear how many persons were involved in the collision, paramedics were sent to the scene to assess the situation and treat any injuries.
The officials asked that any possible witnesses get in touch with them. The accident is now being investigated by DPD and MSP officials.
