Detroit, MI (August 18, 2023) - On Friday afternoon, August 18, officials with the Michigan Department of Transportation reported that a crash involving multiple vehicles occurred on northbound Interstate 75, leading to a handful of potential victim injuries.
Around 3:30 p.m., EMTs, Detroit PD officers, and Michigan State Police troopers arrived at the scene. Authorities say that the left lanes of traffic were closed after the Baldwin Road off-ramp as officers worked to complete their on-site investigation. Paramedics responded to the wreck shortly thereafter to handle the evaluation and treatment of any injuries, though the current conditions of the victims involved remain unknown.
Local police asked any witnesses to get in touch. In the meantime, officials from the DPD and MSP are handling the inquiry into the accident.
