Davison Township, MI (July 20, 2023) - The Davison Township Police Department is looking into a deadly car accident that occurred on a local roadway on Saturday, July 15.

According to a preliminary investigation, the driver of a Jeep Wrangler was going eastbound near East Potter Road at around 8:15 p.m. before hitting a Nissan Sentra that was traveling south.

A 29-year-old woman from Davison Township, who was traveling in the Jeep, was ejected due to the collision and pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital. Two women were traveling in the Nissan, a 37-year-old and 38-year-old, both from Farmington Hills. The women were transferred to a local medical center with minor to moderate injuries.

At this time, the cause of the accident remains under investigation. Witnesses are asked to get in touch with Sergeant Scott Teschendorf if they have additional information.
