There are rules of the road in place to ensure that everyone can be safe while traveling in a motor vehicle. Unfortunately, many drivers do not follow these rules as they should. The right of way is important to the overall safety of the road, and failure to yield the right of way was found to be a contributing factor in nearly 7 percent of deadly car accidents last year.
