Groveland Twp, MI (July 8, 2023) - A fatal head-on collision in Groveland Township on Friday, July 7, left one person dead and two others injured.

The deadly crash was reported at the intersection of Dixie Highway and Tripp Road at around 8:45 p.m. A 25-year-old Oxford man was traveling southbound in a Suzuki SUV when he crossed the centerline and collided with a northbound GMC Acadia.

The driver of the Suzuki was ejected in the impact and suffered fatal injuries. Two occupants in the GMC were hospitalized for treatment.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is in progress.
