Milan, MI (June 11, 2023) - A pedestrian was killed after an accident at a race track in Milan on Saturday, June 10.
At around 5:35 p.m., a driver was that was participating in a drag race event at the Milan Dragway on Plank Road accidentally reversed and hit a pedestrian and another nearby vehicle. The 78-year-old man was transported to a hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
The incident may have been caused by a mechanical issue. No further information has been provided at this time.
Local authorities are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
