Grand Rapids, MI (June 8, 2023) - On Friday, June 2, a man was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in Grand Rapids.
The fatal accident occurred at the corner of Commerce Avenue and Cherry Street at around 1:45 p.m. A 60-year-old Grand Rapids man reportedly suffered a medical episode and was lying on the roadway when he was struck by an oncoming motorist. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved remained and cooperated with authorities. No additional information has been provided.
