Walker, MI (March 14, 2022) - A car wreck was reported to officials in Walker on the morning of March 14. At approximately 6:30 a.m., sources say the accident happened between three vehicles on Lake Michigan Drive.

Police, EMTs, and fire crews were sent to the scene of the wreck, located at the intersection of Lake Michigan Drive and Collindale Avenue. Three vehicles were involved in a crash for reasons still undetermined by police.

Injuries were confirmed as a result of the collision. Paramedics assisted those involved at the scene and transported injured accident victims to area medical centers as needed. Their identities have not been reported at this time.

Traffic was backed up in the area for some time while crews worked to clear the scene. Authorities asked local drivers to find alternative routes while the crash site was active.

At this time, police in Walker continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
