Truck accidents are some of the most devastating types of traffic accidents. Being involved in a crash with a commercial truck can be terrifying. Semi trucks are about 20 times heavier than the average passenger vehicle, making them the giants of the road. Usually, those who sustain injuries in truck accidents are more severely injured than those who are hurt in regular traffic accidents.
Unfortunately, traffic collisions in the Wolverine State happen hundreds of times per day. Yearly, the state sees around 300,000 traffic accidents. Over 70,000 people are hurt in these wrecks annually, and more than 1,000 are killed. Sustaining injuries in a collision can leave a devastating mark on a person’s life. If you or someone you love has recently been hurt in a wreck, you are painstakingly aware of the consequences that often follow–physical, emotional, and financial.
