Detroit, MI (February 27, 2022) - A car crash occurred on a roadway in Wayne County on the morning of February 26. Just before 3:00 a.m., first responders including police and paramedics were requested at the scene to help those with injuries.
According to information from officials, the collision happened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 96 at Newburgh. Those with injuries received emergency treatment at the scene from paramedics. Extensively injured patients were transported by ambulance to local hospitals for care as needed.
The involved parties have not been identified to the public at this time. Police continue to investigate the details of the accident.
