Muskegon, MI (February 17, 2022) - A car crash was reported in Muskegon on the evening of February 17. Sources say the crash happened at around 6:35 p.m. 

The number of involved vehicles has not been reported at this time. The wreck occurred on M-46, also known as Apple Avenue, at Ravenna Road. Various responders were sent to the scene in order to investigate and assist injured victims. 

One or more victims were treated on-site before being transported to area medical centers for further care. Traffic was backed up in the area while crews worked on-site. 

Police asked local drivers to find alternate routes of travel for the time being. Investigations into the circumstances of the accident continue.
