Detroit, MI - Multiple Lanes Blocked After Collision on M-39 near 7 Mile

Detroit, MI (February 14, 2022) - Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked after an auto accident that occurred on a roadway in Detroit on February 14. Police and paramedics were sent to assist at the scene shortly after the incident occurred. 

At approximately 11:00 a.m., an unspecified number of vehicles were involved in a collision on M-39 in the southbound lanes near 7 mile. Emergency vehicles were observed on-site in order to transport those in need of medical attention to local hospitals. 

At this time, the total number of injured victims has not been reported. The center lane, right lane, and right shoulder of the roadway were blocked for some time while crews worked to secure the scene and assist injured parties.
