Allendale Twp, MI (January 22, 2022) - A Muskegon woman suffered serious injuries following a rear-end collision in Allendale Township on Friday afternoon, January 21. The accident took place at the intersection of Lake Michigan Drive and 84th Avenue at around 5 p.m.
A 52-year-old woman from Coopersville was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck headed eastbound. The vehicle was waiting at a light when it was hit from behind by a Dodge Caravan. The driver of the Caravan sustained serious injuries in the crash.
The Muskegon woman was taken to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The driver of the pickup was also injured and treated at the scene by responding paramedics. No further updates have been provided.
An ongoing accident investigation is underway.
