Vassar Twp, MI (January 10, 2022) - A fatal car crash was reported in Vassar Township on Sunday morning, January 9. The deadly accident took place at the intersection of M-15 and Swaffer Road at around 2:40 a.m.
Local reports revealed that a 1994 GMC Sierra was headed northbound on the highway. The 30-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle while traveling on the icy roadway. A 24-year-old Howell woman riding in the GMC was partially ejected when the vehicle crashed. She sustained fatal injuries.
A 24-year-old Millington man also riding in the SUV was also injured. No additional information has been released at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
