A head-on collision has a higher risk of fatal injuries than other types of collisions. Head-on collisions are among the deadliest and have a death rate of over 58%. Despite accounting for less than 2% of reported traffic accidents, these accidents account for more than 10% of all road deaths each year. These types of collisions are usually caused by careless or distracted drivers who swerve into opposing lanes of traffic.
It's nearly impossible to bear the pain and anguish of losing a loved one as a result of someone else's carelessness. It can result in unexpected costs for those who are close to the victim. Family members who survive the accident are frequently the ones who bear the brunt of the accident's consequences. They may be able to recover lost compensation by filing a wrongful death claim with the help of an experienced Huron Township wrongful death attorney.
