Allendale Twp, MI (January 6, 2022) - Two people were injured following a car accident in Allendale Township on Tuesday morning, January 4. The crash was reported at the intersection of Lake Michigan Drive and 88th Avenue at around 8 a.m.
Two vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. A 34-year-old Allendale man was reportedly stopped at the intersection waiting to make a left turn onto 88th Avenue. The vehicle was reportedly rear-ended by a 22-year-old Coopersville woman.
The Allendale man was transported to a Grand Rapids hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The woman was treated at the scene by responding paramedics. No additional information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
