Alpena, MI (December 27, 2021) - At least one person was injured in an accident on a roadway in Alpena on Wednesday, December 22. Information from police shows that it happened at around 6:40 a.m.
According to officials, the collision occurred on M-65 in the southbound lanes near Cousineau Road between at least two vehicles. Firefighters, paramedics, and police were dispatched to the scene where they rendered aid to the injured victims at the scene.
One or more people were transported to area hospitals for treatment due to injuries they sustained in the wreck. The roadway was closed for some time in both directions while crews worked at the scene.
The extent of any of the victim’s injuries is unknown.
