MIchigan Pedestrian Wrecks

A recent surge in pedestrian deaths has been seen in the state of Michigan and across the United States. The recent increase could be caused by a growing number of drivers who choose to look at their phones while behind the wheel. More and more drivers are becoming perilously distracted by their phones, GPS systems, and other activities that tend to take their attention away from the road.

Since the year 2016, the number of fatal traffic accidents involving cell phones in the United States rose approximately 87%. Non-fatal accidents related to the use of cell phones rose around 48%.

Pedestrian accident injuries caused by driver distraction, a serious form of negligence, may be able to be compensated for by filing a personal injury claim. Sustaining serious injuries in an accident caused by a negligent driver can be overwhelming and stressful, not to mention scary and painful. Obtaining the assistance of a skilled and experienced pedestrian crash attorney in Michigan is your best bet at receiving full and fair financial compensation for the injuries and losses you may be faced with after being hurt in an accident.
