House Fires in Michigan

Detroit, MI - Two Injured in House Fire at Nautical Way & Sand Bar Lane

A fire/burn injury can have an extremely negative impact on a person’s life and ability to live the way they want to. What can worsen matters is when the incident that led to their injuries was not their fault, but the fault of another person. It could have possibly been a landlord who didn’t adhere to fire/safety regulations, another person living in the house/apartment complex who acted negligently, or even a faulty product or an unsafe workplace.

In the United States, approximately 300,000 house fires are reported each and every year. They happen for various reasons, including product malfunctions, faulty wiring, electrical wiring, and even home-owner negligence. A percentage of these fires happen in the state of Michigan. Approximately 43,000 house fires are reported in the Wolverine State annually. Those who are burned or injured in these accidents may be eligible to collect financial compensation for the damages they may have endured as a result of the fire.
