Greenbush, MI - One Dead, Two Injured in Three-Car Accident on US-127

Greenbush, MI (December 08, 2021) - The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a collision between three vehicles that left one person dead and two hospitalized on Tuesday, December 7th. 

Reports show that, at about 7:25 a.m., deputies responded to a three-car accident on US-127 in the area of Hyde Road in Greenbush Township when a woman from Riverdale was driving southbound on US-127 when her car left the roadway and entered the median where it hit a pick-up truck, occupied by an adult male from St. Johns, stopped in the turn around waiting to head north.

After colliding with the pick-up truck, the woman entered oncoming traffic where she crashed into a northbound vehicle driven by a man from Perrinton, causing it to overturn into the median.

The woman from Riverdale and the man from Perrinton were both transported to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing in serious condition.

The man from St. Johns died at the scene.
