Lansing, MI - Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run on Grand River Ave

Lansing, MI (April 3, 2025) - On April 1, an afternoon crash in Okemos left a female pedestrian injured after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The incident occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. near the intersection of Grand River Avenue and Campus Hill Drive, according to the Meridian Township Police Department.

Officers were dispatched following reports that a pedestrian had been hit while crossing the road. When emergency crews arrived, they found the injured woman lying in the roadway as bystanders attempted to assist her. Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.
