Flint, MI – Crash blocks E Fifth Ave near N Saginaw St

Flint, MI (December 12, 2024) – The police, firefighters, and emergency medical services in Flint were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in which an unknown number of people sustained injuries. The crash took place just after 5:00 p.m. on December 11.

According to reports from 911 dispatchers in Genesee County, vehicles collided on East Fifth Avenue at the intersection of North Saginaw Street. The incident caused delays in the area as emergency crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the site of the accident. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment of injuries. The crash is currently being investigated by the Michigan State Police.
