Sherman Twp., MI (December 4, 2024) – A young child lost her life as a result of a car crash that occurred on Monday morning in Sherman Twp. The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s office was called to the scene during the morning hours on December 2.
At around eight a.m., a 10-year-old child was struck by a vehicle, which was traveling west on Banker Street near Balk Road. The child was severely hurt in the accident. Despite medical efforts, they were pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver was taken into police custody and faces multiple felony charges. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
