Monroe Co., MI (November 17, 2024) – An unknown number of people were transported to local hospitals for the treatment of injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Monroe County on Saturday evening, November 16.
At around 6:40 p.m., vehicles collided on the southbound side of Interstate 75. The involved vehicles came to rest, blocking multiple lanes of the roadway near Otter Creek Road at Exit 9. Police and fire crews arrived at the scene to assist. Paramedics assessed the victims at the scene and transported those requiring additional medical attention to hospitals. Authorities are now investigating the incident.
