Saranac, MI (October 9, 2024) – An unknown number of people were transported to area hospitals with injuries as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in Saranac.

At around 7:05 p.m. on October 8, vehicles collided on the eastbound side of Michigan 21. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway just after Johnson Road. Emergency medical services responded to care for the injured victims and to provide them with transportation to local medical facilities. The circumstances surrounding the collision are currently being investigated by law enforcement.
