Monroe Co., MI (October 8, 2024) – Emergency crews were summoned to provide assistance at the scene of a major motor vehicle accident that occurred in Monroe County. The collision took place on October 5, just before 8:00 p.m.
Official reports indicate that two motorcycles collided on Steffas Road near Heiss Road. The impact of the crash caused both of the motorcyclists to enter a ditch. A 43-year-old man from the Carleton area and a 34-year-old man from Southgate both suffered injuries in the crash. The two victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
