Car Accidents in Michigan

Flint, MI – Injuries Follow E Flint Park Blvd Crash at Aubrey StDealing with the aftermath of a car accident can be incredibly difficult. Sadly, Michigan experiences tens of thousands of accidents each year that result in serious injuries. Many of these victims require extensive medical treatment to recover from their injuries, and some of the most common injuries include:

  • Knee injuries: The force of the crash can cause the knee joint to twist or bend in unnatural ways, leading to pain, swelling, and difficulty moving. This type of injury often requires rehabilitation and, in some cases, surgery.
  • Dislocated joints: A joint can be forced out of place during an accident. Victims may need immediate medical attention to reposition the joint, followed by physical therapy to regain full function and strength.
  • Crush injuries: These severe injuries occur when a part of the body is compressed between two objects, often leading to damage that may require surgery, skin grafts, or other medical procedures to repair.
  • Abdominal injuries: Internal damage to organs in the abdominal area, such as lacerations, bleeding, and damage to the digestive system, can be life-threatening. Treatment for these injuries may include emergency surgery and a long recovery process involving blood transfusions and rehabilitation.

In addition to the physical challenges, victims must also face the confusing and time-consuming legal process that follows an accident.
