Detroit, MI (September 30, 2024) – A hit-and-run accident in the Detroit area left at least one person hurt. The Detroit Police Department was informed of the collision at around 2:30 a.m. on September 29.
Police reports show that a motor vehicle collision took place on Hayes Street. One of the involved vehicles fled the scene of the crash. Police and firefighters rushed to the scene to provide assistance. The crash prompted the closure of the roadway near East 7 Mile Road, allowing police and firefighters to remove the involved vehicles. Medical teams provided aid to the injured victims. Those with injuries that required further medical attention were transported by ambulance to local hospitals. Currently, the police are investigating the accident.
