China Twp., MI – Man Killed in Marine City Hwy Crash, Woman Hurt

China Township, MI (September 15, 2024) - A major motor vehicle accident was reported in the China Township area that claimed one man’s life while leaving one person hurt. The collision took place on Thursday evening, September 12.

At around 6:30 p.m., a 60-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman were riding a motorcycle on Marine City Highway. For unknown reasons, their vehicle collided with a car. The incident prompted the police, firefighters, and emergency medical services to respond. Police and firefighters worked to remove the involved vehicles from the road. Emergency medical services tended to the injured parties on site before transporting the two victims to McLaren Macomb Hospital for emergency care. Authorities confirmed that the man died from his injuries after arriving. The police department is currently investigating to determine what caused the accident to take place.
