Flint, MI – Accident on S Ballenger Hwy near Westcombe Ave

Flint, MI (September 7, 2024) – An unknown number of people were transported to local hospitals with injuries following a car crash that occurred in Flint. The Flint Police Department and firefighters were informed of the accident at around 3:10 p.m. on September 6.

According to police reports, a collision occurred on South Ballenger Highway during the afternoon hours. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway near the intersection of Westcombe Avenue as they provided assistance. Emergency medical services were summoned to the scene of the crash. At least one person was confirmed injured. Medics provided care to the victims before transporting them to hospitals in the area. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
