Kalamazoo, MI (September 5, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident has been reported in the Kalamazoo area since at least one person went to a local hospital with injuries. The collision was reported to officials at around 7:50 a.m. on September 4.

According to law enforcement reports, a motor vehicle accident took place on Portage Street near Egleston Avenue. In response to the incident, the roadway was closed for a short time while authorities cleared the vehicles from the scene.
