Kalamazoo, MI (August 22, 2024) – Emergency crews in Kalamazoo were called to the scene of a car crash at around 9:20 on August 22 that sent an unknown number of people to local hospitals with injuries.

Police reports show that the southbound side of US Highway 131 was blocked near West Main Street as a result of a vehicle collision. Authorities arrived at the scene and closed off a portion of the roadway as they worked to clear the involved vehicles from the road. Medical personnel responded to the crash to care for injured victims. At least one of the people involved in the collision was transported to a local hospital for further medical care. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
