Flint, MI – Injury Accident on W Maple Ave near Torrey Rd

Flint, MI (August 21, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Flint sent an unknown number of people to local hospitals for the treatment of injuries. The Flint Police Department was informed of the accident at around 7:55 p.m. on August 19.

According to law enforcement reports, a collision between vehicles occurred on West Maple Avenue. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles near Tory Road. Police and firefighters immediately closed down the roadway. Emergency officials remained at the scene extensively as they worked to remove the involved cars and clear the road. Medical personnel tended to the injured victims on site before transporting them to local hospitals. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
