Car Accidents in Michigan

Saginaw, MI – Court St Crash Reported near N Woodbridge StEvery day, motor vehicle accidents happen in Michigan, leading to serious injuries for many people. It is common for accident victims to suffer injuries that keep them out of work for weeks or even months while they receive important medical treatment. Unfortunately, many people end up with severe injuries such as broken bones, spinal cord fractures, and deep cuts and lacerations. Many of these accidents could have been prevented. Some of the main causes of vehicle crashes in our state include:

  • Speeding: When drivers go too fast, they may not have enough time to stop or react to sudden changes on the road.
  • Distracted Driving: Using a phone or other distractions can prevent drivers from paying attention to the road, increasing the risk of an accident.
  • Weather Conditions: Rain, snow, or fog can make roads slippery or reduce visibility, leading to accidents if drivers are not careful.
  • Reckless Driving: Aggressive behaviors such as tailgating or weaving through traffic can cause dangerous situations on the road.
  • Running Red Lights or Stop Signs: Ignoring traffic signals and signs can lead to collisions at intersections.
  • Drunk Driving: Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs impairs a driver’s ability to make safe decisions, leading to accidents.
