Wyoming, MI – Accident Reported on 28th St near Hock Ave SW

Wyoming, MI (August 12, 2024) – At around 6:20 a.m. on August 11, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Wyoming area.

Reports from the police indicate that 28th Street was blocked on both the eastbound and westbound sides of the road as a result of the collision that occurred between Hook Avenue Southwest and Oak Valley Avenue Southwest. Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately shut down the roadway while assisting. One tow truck was requested on-site to remove one of the vehicles involved in the crash. Medical personnel tended to the injured victims before transporting those who required further medical attention to local hospitals. The Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
