Kent, MI – Accident Reported on I-96 near Plainfield Ave On-Ramp

Kent, MI (August 2, 2024) - At around 7:00 p.m. on August 1, emergency officials were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Kent.

Official reports indicate that multiple lanes of the westbound side of Interstate 96 were blocks near the on-ramp from the northbound and southbound entrance to Plainfield Avenue. Some delays were reported as emergency officials assisted at the scene. Paramedics tended to the injured victims briefly on-site. Those who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals. At this time, the police are investigating the wreck.
