Polkton Twp., MI – Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on Cleveland St

Polkton Township, MI (July 15, 2024)- A major motor vehicle accident reported in Ottawa County sent several victims to area hospitals with injuries. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office and firefighters were called to the scene of the accident at around 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 13.

Official reports indicate that two vehicles collided on Cleveland Street at the intersection of State Road. Authorities determined that a 28-year-old woman was traveling eastbound in a Chevrolet Traverse when she turned left into the path of a Buick Envision, which was being driven by a 77-year-old woman. As a result, the two vehicles collided. A 60-year-old woman in the Chevrolet was injured in the crash and transported by life EMS to a local hospital. She was admitted in critical condition. A driver and passenger in the Envision were both transported to area hospitals for emergency medical care. The accident is currently under investigation by law enforcement.
