Gerrish Twp., MI – Fatal Crash on E Higgins Lake Dr Takes One Life

Gerrish Twp., MI (July 10, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in Gerrish Township claimed one person’s life. The collision was reported at around 3:00 p.m. on July 8.

Reports from authorities indicate that three vehicles collided on East Higgins Lake Drive. Authorities confirmed that a minivan was traveling north on the roadway when it collided with a Ford F1 50 pickup truck and a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The impact of the crash caused the Ford to overturn and come to rest on its roof. One person involved in the accident was fatally injured. A total of nine people were transported to area hospitals for medical care. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
