Vicksburg, MI (June 12, 2024) – A man lost his life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred in the Vicksburg area on Tuesday, June 11. The Vicksburg Police Department and firefighters were called to the crash scene just after 11:00 a.m.
Reports from authorities show that a man in a wheelchair was traveling through the area near North Richardson Street when he was struck by a train. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway near Spruce Street. Emergency medical services rushed to the scene of the accident to render aid to the involved victim.
