Saginaw, MI – Child Fatally Struck near Jesse Loomis Elementary School  

Saginaw, MI (June 7, 2024) – A three-year-old child has died as a result of a fatal accident that occurred in the Saginaw area on Saturday evening.

According to area law enforcement reports, a 3-year-old girl and a 4-year-old girl were both at a playground located near the Jesse Loomis Elementary School. As the two young children attempted to leave, they were struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. Both girls were rushed to area hospitals for emergency medical care. The three-year-old girl passed away after arriving. The driver of the vehicle, a 64-year-old, was not injured. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
