Putnam Twp., MI (May 31, 2024) – A young girl is trying to recover from injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Putnam County on Wednesday afternoon, May 29.

Official reports show that a 13-year-old girl was riding a bicycle in the area of Farley Road and Lakeland Trail. For unknown reasons, she was struck by a 2014 Ford Focus. The girl was critically injured in the crash. She was transported to the University of Michigan Hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
