Grand Rapids, MI (May 23, 2024) - A woman was rushed to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries following a major motor vehicle accident that occurred in Grand Rapids. The Grand Rapids Police Department was called to the scene at around 10:00 a.m. on May 20.
Police reports indicate that a woman was riding an electric bicycle eastbound on 44th Street during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, she was struck by a truck that was turning onto the roadway from Plymouth Avenue. The woman was severely hurt as a result of the crash. She was rushed to an area hospital for emergency care. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
