Nunica, MI (May 21, 2024) – The Michigan Department of Transportation reported that a motor vehicle accident occurred on May 20 in the Nunica area and ended in injuries. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at around 5:50 a.m.

Law enforcement reports indicate that a collision occurred on Cleveland Street at the intersection of Michigan Highway 231. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway, enabling police and firefighters to work quickly on removing the involved vehicles. At least one tow truck responded to the scene to provide assistance with removing the involved vehicles. Paramedics were requested on-site to care for injured victims.
