Reading Twp., MI – Injury Go-Cart Crash on Horn Rd near Blair Rd

Reading Twp., MI (May 17, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of an automobile accident that occurred in Reading Township. The collision was reported at around 8:00 p.m. on May 15.

According to law enforcement reports, a go-cart and a pickup truck collided on Horn Road near Blair Road during the evening hours. The impact of the crash caused the go-cart to overturn several times. The incident prompted the closure of the intersection. Two juvenile victims were critically injured as a result of the crash. One victim was airlifted and flown by helicopter to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for emergency medical treatment. The second victim was transported to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital by ambulance. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
