Mt Morris Twp., MI – 62-Year-Old Killed in Crash on Carpenter Rd

Mt Morris Twp., MI (April 25, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a major motor vehicle accident that claimed the life of one pedestrian on Monday evening, April 22.

According to official reports, at around 5:10 p.m., a 62-year-old man was pushing a wheelbarrow along of the 3100 block of Carpenter Road when he was struck by a westbound Chevrolet Cobalt. The Chevrolet was traveling at a high rate of speed and ran a red light at the intersection of Clio Road. The pedestrian was severely injured in the crash. He was pronounced deceased as a result of the accident. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
