Wyoming, MI (April 19, 2024) – The Wyoming Fire Department confirmed that one person died in a fire incident reported on Thursday morning, April 18. The firefighters and emergency officials were called to the scene of the incident at around 445 a.m.
Official reports indicate that a home located near the intersection of Lee Street Southwest and Collingwood Avenue Southwest caught on fire during the early morning hours. Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately began battling the blaze. Inside the structure, firefighters located a 42-year-old woman with severe injuries. The woman was subsequently pronounced deceased by authorities. At this time, the incident is being investigated. No other injuries were reported.
