Woodstock Twp., MI (April 19, 2024) – The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one person lost their life in a motor vehicle accident reported on Thursday morning, April 18.
At around 11:40 a.m., authorities were called to the scene of a crash at the intersection of US Highway 223 and Herold Highway. The incident, which involved a delivery truck and a car, blocked several lanes of the road. Preliminary reports show that a 74-year-old man was driving the truck east on US Highway 223 when it was involved in a crash with the car just outside of a construction zone. One person involved in the crash, identified as a 58-year-old man, was fatally injured. The victim was pronounced deceased on-site. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
