Lansing, MI – LPD Confirms Victim Dies from Cedar St Crash at Elm St

Lansing, MI (April 18, 2024) – The Lansing Police Department confirmed that one person lost their life as a result of a motorcycle accident that occurred on Tuesday, April 9. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at around 2:30 p.m.

Official reports indicate that a motorcycle accident took place on Cedar Street near Elm Street. The accident, which involved a car and a motorcycle, prompted the closure of the roadway for an extended period. The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man, was severely hurt in the crash. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries. The driver of the car, who was identified as a 71-year-old female, was transported to a local hospital for medical care.
