Macomb, MI (April 17, 2024) – Emergency crews across Macomb were summoned to provide health at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday evening, April 17.
Reports provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation indicate that at around 6:10 p.m., two lanes of the road were blocked on the westbound side of Interstate 94 due to a motor vehicle accident that occurred near Harper Avenue. The accident resulted in stop-and-go traffic that extended back to Shook Road. Emergency officials remained at the scene extensively as they worked to remove the involved vehicles and investigate. Medical personnel responded to evaluate the involved parties and transport those who required medical treatment to area hospitals. The police department is currently investigating to determine what caused the accident.
